Star Trek Holidays 2023

STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE
Ship: T'Pol/Charles "Trip" Tucker III
I recently completed my watch-through of Enterprise, and I absolutely fell head-over-heels for these two together. They clearly have such deep feelings for each other but are SO bad at communicating it and are just generally friends-to-lovers-to-idiots. He loves her so, SO much, with all his big messy human emotions, and she's never felt this way about anyone before and it's so confusing for her (because she's a Vulcan and their emotions are sometimes even messier than human ones). Thankfully, in season 4 they get a tiny bit better at communicating--and later in the season they HAVE to communicate, because they develop a Vulcan mating bond, and they're quite literally in each other's heads! I am so sad we didn't get another season to explore their relationship, because clearly they were endgame and deserved to have a whole mess of babies and retire on Vulcan and live happily ever after. (And as far as I'm concerned, that train wreck of a series finale isn't canon.)

When I started watching TOS, I fully expected to ship Spirk, since that's the iconic ship everyone associates with the show. However... I got hooked on Spones!! I absolutely adore their dynamic. All of their snarky banter and quips and arguments and teasing. They really get on each other's nerves, but they have fun doing it, and at the end of the day they really do deeply care about each other. ("We go together or not at all!")

- What was the moment Trip realized he had feelings for her?
- What did they do on the transport to Vulcan in episode 4x03 (Home)? When they got to T'Pol's house, they were clearly very giddy and counting on having some time to themselves, but her mom kind of threw a bucket of water over them, lol.
- Trip has encouraged T'Pol to try human foods--pecan pie and peaches. What Vulcan food would T'Pol share with him?
- I would love to see their mental bond/link explored more--how they communicate through it, what kind of imagery they can share in the "whitespace" that T'Pol has, if they can sense each other's emotions, if T'Pol's on the night shift and Trip is suddenly super horny in his quarters and she can feel it, etc.
- Trip and T'Pol start a family. (I usually DNW pregnancy in fics, but I am 100% okay with it for these two. Just no explicit childbirth scenes, please!)
- Trip and T'Pol are married, and over the years Trip helps T'Pol through her Pon Farrs. But this time around, he's a 50-year-old man with achy joints and he's really got to buckle down and prepare to be absolutely destroyed for an entire week. (It's worth it.)
- Fuck-or-die/sex pollen: Trip gets exposed to some kind of sex pollen and T'Pol is the only one there to help.
- How did Trip and T'Pol get together in the E² universe? What was raising Lorian like?
- What kind of Vulcan and Human holidays do they celebrate? I'd love to see a merging of whatever Vulcan winter holiday + Christmas would look like. I feel like they'd definitely be one of those multicultural households that celebrates All the Holidays.

- Bones gets injured on an away mission with Spock, so Spock has to treat him. Bones is the worst patient ever.
- Pon Farr fic! Bones is the only person available (or willing) to aid Spock through an unexpected Pon Farr. Perhaps he tries purely medical solutions at first, but eventually just fucks him into next Tuesday.
- Bones and Spock have to huddle for warmth on an away mission, and they bicker the entire time.
- Bones has to give Spock a physical. Spock gets accidentally turned on.
- The universal translator goes offline--for the first time, they hear each other's real accents. Bones has a much thicker Southern drawl, and Spock has a Vulcan accent (however you want to interpret a Vulcan accent to be).
- Spock having an internal penis that emerges. (It just squicks me. I don't mind weird ridges, sparkles, whatever, just no dick that emerges from a cavity, please!)
